The BenQ PB2120 sub-$1,000 digital projector from BenQ America Corp. (www.benq.com) offers a variety of key features and functions in a lightweight 3.8 lb. package, which makes it an ideal presentation solution for mobile professionals like educators. The projector has a high 2,000:1 contrast ratio at 1,200 ANSI lumens. As a digital projector, the PB2120 has a native SVGA resolution but can support resolutions from 640 x 350 up to 1,280 x 1,024. It also can support 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios, and its wide-angle lens offers a projected image size of 22"-236". Using proprietary BenQ video-processing technology to support the latest DLP chipset from Texas Instruments, the PB2120 is HDTV-compatible with direct YPbPr/component (through its VGA port), S-Video and composite video inputs. It also features picture-in-picture and digital keystone correction functions, as well as an intelligent remote control.
