CDW-G Partners with DyKnow To Distribute Interactive Learning Software
DyKnow has recently signed a partner agreement with CDW Government (CDW-G) aimed at providing "dynamic teaching and learning solutions" to the K12 and higher education markets.
Under the agreement, CDW-G will distribute DyKnow's interactive software suite, including the DyKnow Vision and DyKnow Monitor platforms. Features of DyKnow Vision include collaborative note taking, student response tools, and Web-based access. The DyKnow Monitor classroom management solution integrates with DyKnow Vision and provides thumbnail views of student computers, application and URL blocking, and remote access capabilities, among other things.
"CDW-G and DyKnow believe in providing a total classroom solution and see DyKnow as an integral part of the 21st Century classroom," said Laura Small, DyKnow president, in a prepared statement. "DyKnow's interactive and monitoring capabilities, along with CDW-G's comprehensive list of educational technology options, offer educators a sound platform to enhance learning."
According to the announcement, McAuley High School in Cincinnati, OH, has already purchased the DyKnow suite through the CDW-G partnership. The school will deploy a range of products--including the DyKnow solution--to 700 of its students over the next four years.
