Teacher Site Adds Free Quiz Resources

MeadWestvaco's educator-focused Mead4Teachers site has expanded the range of free resources it's offering for classroom instruction and collaboration. The site recently added gaming resources aimed at classroom learning, as well as forums and news. As part of the launch, MeadWestvaco (the parent company of Mead and other office products brands) is also launching a sweepstakes offering $500 toward the purchase of its products.

Among the new features at Mead4Teachers.com is a new game creation system that allows teachers to create custom games by entering questions and answers and choosing a test format. Students then race the clock to get the most answers right. The site also provides a library of pre-generated quiz games searchable by subject area and fully customizable.

In addition, the site also offers new forums for teachers to share ideas and post questions and new news and product resources.

The sweepstakes launched in conjunction with the new site gives teachers the chance to win $500 in "Mead Classroom Cash" good toward the purchase of MeadWestvaco products by recommending the site to a others. Further information about the sweepstakes can be found on the Mead4Teachers site.
