SLC Launches Reading Progress Indicator

Scientific Learning Corp. (SLC) has debuted Reading Progress Indicator for the company's Fast ForWord line of reading intervention tools. Reading Progress Indicator is designed to measure students' reading progress when using Fast ForWord. It was developed by assessment provider Bookette Software Co.

Reading Progress Indicator integrates with SLC's Fast ForWord Progress Tracker, an online analysis and reporting tool for monitoring student performance. The company describes it as a "summative, normed assessment that quickly evaluates the impact of Fast ForWord product use on a student's reading progress."

Reading Progress Indicator will be available later this month, according to SLC, as a part of Progress Tracker for a flat annual fee for new and existing Fast ForWord customers with full site or workstation licenses.
