Host integrity solutions are increasingly necessary as user computers are recognized as the principal risks to network security. With mechanisms in place to ensure compliance by end users—as well as lowcost distributed methods to repair their computers—the soaring cost of network security may decline. And in today’s environment of tight budgets, that is one genuine “gift horse” organizations cannot afford to decline.
