Differentiated Instruction Is the Cornerstone of Updated netTrekker
Just in time for the new school year, Thinkronize will release an updated
version of its netTrekker academic search engine (www.nettrekker.com) on
Sept. 1. The new netTrekker d.i. (differentiated instruction) matches educator selected,
standards-based online resources to each student’s learning needs.
One of the biggest additions to netTrekker d.i. is a database of more than 60,000 school-friendly images that students may use in projects or classroom presentations. The new version also has pre-screened the search engine’s 180,000 resources for readability level, curriculum relevance, and quality. There is also a new section dedicated to helping English language learners which allows educators to find sites in multiple languages and use a hot key to define or translate any word selected on a Web site. Introductory pricing for netTrekker d.i. is available through Oct. 15, and can make the annual cost as low as 86 cents per student.
