CELT Announces Fall Ed Tech Summit

CELT AnnouncesCELT Fall Ed Tech Summit Education, government, and technology leaders nationwide will convene in Cape Cod, MA, Oct. 5-8, for the 2005 National Education Summit on Leadership, Learning, and Technology. This year’s invitation- only event will bring together state government and school district teams to set a national agenda on such issues as:

  • Alignment of 21st century leadership, learning, and technology programs.
  • Design and implementation of educational accountability and reporting systems at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Impact of technology on workforce, community, and economic development.
  • Convergence of education reforms and federal/state funding programs with NCLB regulations.

According to John R. Phillipo, CEO for CELT Corp., the host organization for this year’s event, “Government, community, and education leaders must enable learners of all ages to reach their highest achievement and employment potential.”As a result of enormous daily demands, says Phillipo, there is often very little time for team learning and exploration. Thus, summit activities have been planned to meet professional and organizational development needs of state and local teams.
