News Briefs - TVOntario

Canada's TVOntario (www.tvontario.org) is providing students and teachers in the United States with subscriptions to its video and print-on-demand service, CRB (Curriculum Resource Bank), which offers more than 100 hours of core-curriculum content available for streaming to any desktop computer or projector. TVO series such as "Concepts in Science," "Concepts in Math" and "Inquiring Minds" are available on the site as full-length videos or as indexed learning objects. Users need only utilize the straightforward search engine to access CRB's content, with capabilities to search by title, grade level, subject or curriculum strand. Aside from videos, CRB also contains lesson plans, teacher guides and utilization tips.
