Short Takes - Polycom Videoconferencing System

The Delaware School for the Deaf is implementing an innovative way of communicating with teachers and students in the event of an emergency. Rather than making the typical announcement over the school's PA system, the principal of the Delaware School for the Deaf flashes the lights in all of the buildings, which signals teachers and students to tune into their Polycom videoconferencing system (www.polycom.com) for an announcement and further instructions in sign language.
